Episode 1 — The Boy in the Snowstorm

Snow covered every rooftop in Frost Hollow.

The small northern village looked almost dead beneath the endless winter sky. Strong winds howled through narrow streets while icy snow slammed against wooden walls.

Inside a small cabin near the edge of the village, seven-year-old Kai Ravenwood sat quietly beside a dying fire.

The flames were weak.

Almost gone.

Kai pulled his old blanket tighter around his shoulders.

Across the room, his mother carefully repaired torn winter clothes under candlelight. Her hands trembled slightly from the cold.

“You should sleep,” she said softly.

Kai looked toward the nearly empty wood pile.

“The fire won’t last.”

His mother forced a tired smile.

“We’ll survive tonight.”

But Kai knew the truth.

Food was running out.

The winter had become harsher every year.

And people in Frost Hollow were already struggling to survive.

Especially his family.

Since his father disappeared years ago in the forbidden mountains, the villagers had treated Kai differently.

Some whispered that his bloodline was cursed.

Others believed dark spirits followed him.

Children avoided him.

Adults stared at him with fear.

And strange things always happened around him.

Animals watched him silently.

Storms grew stronger whenever he felt angry.

Sometimes candles lit by themselves when he was afraid.

And worst of all…

Sometimes he heard voices.

Not human voices.

Something ancient.

Something impossible.

Suddenly—

The fire flickered violently.

The wind outside screamed louder than before.

Then Kai heard it.

A whisper.

“Kai…”

His eyes widened instantly.

The voice echoed deep inside his mind.

“Kai…”

Kai slowly stood up.

His mother looked toward him immediately.

“What’s wrong?”

Kai stared toward the frozen window.

Beyond the storm…

The mountains.

“I heard something.”

The whisper returned again.

Stronger this time.

“Find me…”

A cold chill moved down Kai’s spine.

His mother immediately grabbed his arm.

“No.”

Her voice trembled slightly.

“You stay inside tonight.”

But Kai couldn’t explain what he felt.

The voice wasn’t frightening.

It felt familiar.

Like it had been waiting for him.

Outside, thunder exploded across the sky.

The cabin shook violently.

Then the whisper came one final time.

“Come…”

Kai’s heart began racing.

Without thinking, he grabbed his thick winter coat and rushed toward the door.

“Kai!”

His mother tried to stop him.

But the storm swallowed her voice the moment he stepped outside.

The cold hit him instantly.

Snow reached nearly to his knees as freezing winds pushed against his small body.

But the voice guided him forward.

Step by step.

Toward the forbidden mountain.

Nobody from Frost Hollow ever climbed those mountains.

According to old legends, monsters slept beneath the ice.

Some stories claimed dragons once lived there centuries ago before the Great Dragon War destroyed the ancient kingdoms.

Kai had always believed those stories were only myths.

Until tonight.

The storm became more violent the higher he climbed.

Frozen wind cut across his face like knives.

His hands became numb.

Still…

The voice continued calling him.

“Closer…”

Then suddenly—

A strange blue light appeared between the trees ahead.

Kai stopped immediately.

Hidden beneath giant cliffs stood a massive cave entrance covered in ancient ice.

Glowing symbols stretched across the stone walls.

The voice became clearer.

“Inside…”

Kai swallowed nervously.

Every instinct told him to run back home.

But something stronger pulled him forward.

Slowly, he stepped into the cave.

The inside was enormous.

Blue crystals illuminated the darkness like frozen stars.

Ancient stone pillars stretched toward the ceiling.

Snow drifted gently through cracks above.

And at the center of the cavern…

Something waited.

Kai’s breathing stopped.

A giant black egg rested upon a circular stone altar.

Blue glowing cracks spread across its surface.

The egg pulsed slowly.

Like a heartbeat.

The entire cave suddenly felt alive.

Kai stared in disbelief.

It was impossible.

Dragons had vanished centuries ago.

Everyone knew that.

Yet the moment he looked at the egg…

He felt something staring back at him.

Then suddenly—

The glowing runes surrounding the altar ignited.

Blue light exploded across the chamber.

A violent shockwave blasted through the cave.

Kai stumbled backward.

And then—

Visions flooded his mind.

Dragons flying across burning skies.

Massive armies screaming beneath giant wings.

Ancient cities collapsing into fire.

A colossal black dragon roaring beneath crimson lightning.

War.

Death.

Darkness.

Then finally—

A pair of glowing blue eyes staring directly into his soul.

Kai gasped and collapsed onto the frozen ground.

The visions vanished instantly.

Silence returned to the cave.

Only the egg remained.

Then—

CRACK.

Kai looked up sharply.

The egg moved.

Just slightly.

His heartbeat quickened.

Slowly, carefully, he approached the altar again.

Warmth radiated from the shell.

Outside, thunder shook the mountain.

Kai hesitated for a moment before reaching forward.

The moment his hand touched the egg—

Blue energy erupted across the cave.

Ancient symbols blazed like fire.

The mountain trembled violently.

And somewhere deep beneath Eldoria…

Something ancient awakened.

Far below the earth—

A pair of gigantic crimson eyes slowly opened in darkness.
