Ethan had installed twelve security cameras before leaving for Saudi Arabia.
Vanessa told him lightning damaged the network three weeks after his departure. Insurance was supposedly replacing it.
She sent an invoice.
The company named on the invoice did not exist.
Derek had disconnected the visible cameras and redirected the storage server to a private account.
He kept selected footage.
Investigators recovered clips of Sofia being threatened, Margaret being denied visitors, and employees carrying furniture and medical equipment out of the house.
Why would Derek preserve evidence against himself?
Because he used the footage to control Vanessa too.
