The first reopened case involved a family-owned construction company.
Cross & Vale represented a national developer seeking its land. The family submitted an expert report showing environmental contamination would make the sale dangerous. The report disappeared from the electronic docket before the hearing.
The judge ruled without seeing it.
The family lost the land and later declared bankruptcy.
A second case involved a nurse fired after reporting unsafe staffing. Her attorney uploaded hospital emails proving executives knew of patient deaths. The filed version contained blank pages.
The hospital won summary judgment.
A third involved an elderly inventor whose patent ownership shifted through an emergency order he never received. The order’s metadata matched WHITE ORDER tools.
These clients had spent years believing they failed because courts rejected their evidence.
Some lost homes, careers and health.
Prosecutors could not repair every consequence quickly. Each case required separate review, notice and judicial action.
Charlotte met representatives from the affected families.
One man asked whether she knew about the system while married to Ethan.
“No,” she said.
“Should you have known?”
The honest answer was complicated.
Ethan worked late, guarded his devices and described confidential cases vaguely. Charlotte had also ignored moments that now looked suspicious: celebrations before rulings were issued, contempt for opposing lawyers and repeated claims that procedure mattered more than truth.
“I knew he liked winning too much,” she said. “I did not know he changed the court record. I wish I had questioned more.”
The man did not absolve her.
He appreciated the absence of excuses.
Reed Dynamics created a restitution fund from fees earned on Cross & Vale contracts. Charlotte personally added money from the divorce assets Ethan had tried to claim.
She did not present the fund as generosity.
Some of the company’s tools had been licensed to the firm while corruption occurred. Even without knowledge, profit created responsibility to assist repair.
The review panel prioritized cases involving housing, health and immediate liberty.
