Grant tried to call Lily’s fall an accident.
The ballroom cameras disagreed.
One camera faced the easel.
It showed Lily lifting the croissant.
It showed Grant cross the floor.
It showed his hand strike hers and his body move into her space as she stepped backward and fell.
Hotel security preserved the footage.
Rosa gave a statement confirming she had brought the food because Lily had not eaten all day.
The event coordinator admitted Grant ordered staff not to feed her until after the auction photographs.
Sebastian withdrew from the purchase and instructed his attorneys to cooperate with the foundation investigation.
Grant stood beside the stage while the room turned away from him.
Lily reached for Claire.
Claire lifted her again.
Grant watched them.
