Federal agents searched the abandoned warehouse while the hearing continued.
They found sealed evidence cartons behind a false wall.
Inside were firearms, jewelry, cash bundles, narcotics, and personal property from dozens of closed cases.
Each item carried an evidence number marked destroyed in the county database.
Agents also found a damaged patrol bodycam beneath a metal cabinet.
Its memory card still worked.
The video showed Rourke planting cash inside Daniel’s car while another officer blocked the road.
A voice outside the frame said, “Make sure Sloan’s sister understands what happens if she keeps digging.”
The voice belonged to Vance.
The search also uncovered Michael Trent’s missing files.
They had been stored in a locked office with photographs of his vehicle taken before the collision that killed him.
That discovery changed the investigation.
The federal prosecutor requested a new review of Michael’s death.
Rebecca heard the news from the witness stand.
For several seconds, she could not speak.
Judge Brooks offered a recess.
