Daniel became permanent controller forty-one days before the park reunion.
He immediately scheduled a merger with Aegis Response Group, a private surveillance contractor. The deal would convert Northstar’s rescue network into a global tracking platform and pay Daniel hundreds of millions.
Jack’s return threatened the merger.
The existence of his daughters destroyed the legal foundation beneath Daniel’s ownership.
Trust attorney Grace Monroe froze the transaction.
Daniel argued that Jack lacked capacity and the children had been excluded lawfully.
The court appointed independent guardians for the triplets’ financial interests.
Claire was relieved.
She did not want motherhood used as automatic authority over billions, just as she did not want Daniel controlling the trust.
The guardians reviewed William’s original purpose.
