Hannah agreed.

Instead, they requested a permanent independent bedside-reporting office in every Mercer hospital. Nurses, patients and families could preserve device logs and request outside review without management approval.
The Emily Cole Clinical Truth Office opened the following year.
Hannah initially rejected use of her sister’s name. Her mother approved it only after employees, not executives, controlled the program.
