Without staff, lights, and comments, she seemed smaller.
Nathan, Ruth, and Lena watched remotely as police surrounded the building.
Bianca called Nathan.
She offered the donor database and evidence against Victor in exchange for safe passage.
“You are offering what you stole as payment for avoiding consequences,” Nathan said.
“I built the campaign.”
“You rented attention.”
“I made people care.”
“You made people watch.”
Bianca threatened to publish the resident files.
Eli had already helped investigators disable her access.
For the first time, she held no audience and no leverage.
Police arrested her.
