Lena had worked six Cross Foundation events.
She remembered staff people ignored.
A young videographer named Eli Park had filmed behind-the-scenes content for Bianca. He often ate alone near the service elevator and once complained that Miles made him delete footage.
Lena found him through a catering group chat.
Eli agreed to meet in a crowded diner.
He brought a hard drive.
It contained unused footage from campaign shoots. In one clip, Bianca joked about “harvesting tragic grandmas” for donation videos. In another, Victor instructed Miles to create profiles for empty housing units.
The most important clip showed Miles arguing with Bianca.
He wanted out.
Bianca threatened to accuse him of stealing everything.
Eli had recorded the conversation accidentally through an open microphone.
“Where is Miles?” Nathan asked.
