Victor and Eleanor watched the kitchen video in a private conference room.
Graham’s attorneys argued that the vial contained Victor’s prescribed medicine. The physician denied authorizing any injection into food.
Then the archive opened a second file.
Daniel appeared on screen inside the same ballroom three years earlier.
He said Graham had diverted foundation funds, manipulated Victor’s medical records and paid a contractor capable of remotely interfering with vehicle systems.
Daniel named the contractor.
Orion Risk Solutions.
The company had been hired to protect Graham during the week of Daniel’s crash.
Victor leaned forward.
Daniel continued.
“If this file plays, someone attempted to use Victor’s health to seize the trust. Reopen my death. The method will be the same: manufacture an emergency, control the first report, and call everyone else unstable.”
The recording ended.
Eleanor asked Claire why she waited three years.
“Because your grandson controlled the police liaison, company security and the doctors who called Daniel’s suspicions grief-related paranoia.”
Victor looked toward the door where Graham was being questioned.
