The mansion’s camera outages traced back to a technician named Owen Price.
Veronica paid him to disable recordings during private meetings.
He believed the footage vanished permanently.
Nathan’s cloud backup surprised everyone.
Owen accepted immunity in exchange for cooperation.
He revealed a second recording system inside Veronica’s private office.
She had used hidden cameras to collect compromising footage of trustees, employees, and relatives.
Then she threatened to expose them if they resisted her decisions.
Investigators recovered hundreds of files.
One showed Julian instructing Veronica to increase Clara’s medication.
Another showed Dr. Cole signing the false treatment order.
A third showed Martin Hale, the family attorney, warning Veronica that the will amendment would activate when the baby was born.
Veronica answered:
Then Clara must not remain competent long enough to protect it.
Martin had not reported the threat.
He claimed he feared losing his career.
Clara looked at him during the interview.
“You were afraid of losing a job. I was going to lose my child.”
Martin resigned and agreed to testify.
The hidden recordings also exposed board members accepting bribes.
What began as a violent scene in a mansion became a criminal investigation involving charities, medical providers, developers, and family advisers.
Clara understood why Veronica had seemed untouchable.
